SERVICES

A Wide Range of In-Home Care Services

Everyday tasks can become more difficult as a person ages, recovers from hospitalization, or experiences changes in mobility, memory, or independence.

NurtureCare helps Northern Virginia families identify the right level of non-medical home care without using a one-size-fits-all approach. Support may range from a few scheduled companion visits to overnight, live-in, or continuous shift-based care.

Live-In Care

Consistent Daily Support From a Caregiver Living in the Home

Live-In Care may suit families who want one consistent caregiver residing in the home and providing support throughout the agreed daily schedule, with appropriate rest and sleeping arrangements.

Companion Care

Social Interaction, Errands, and Light Household Support

Companion Care may be appropriate for a senior who remains mostly independent but would benefit from regular conversation, meals, grocery shopping, transportation, or wellness check-ins.

Personal Care

Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, or Mobility Assistance

Hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, and medication reminders, delivered with respect for the individual’s dignity and routine.

Memory Loss, Wandering, or Dementia-Related Changes

Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care may provide structured routines, safety monitoring, companionship, personal assistance, and caregiver matching based on the person’s memory condition and preferred routine.

Overnight Care

Help Through the Night

Overnight care may be appropriate when a senior needs bathroom assistance, reassurance, fall prevention, post-hospital monitoring, or support related to sundowning and nighttime confusion.

Professional caregiver support through the nighttime hours, typically 10pm to 7am.

Post-Hospital & Recovery Care

Recovering After Surgery, Hospitalization, or Rehabilitation

Post-Hospital and Recovery Care may be appropriate when a loved one is returning home and needs temporary non-medical support during recovery. Assistance may include mobility help, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation to follow-up appointments, personal care, light household tasks, and overnight support when needed.

Respite Care

A Family Caregiver Needs Time to Rest or Step Away

Respite Care provides temporary or recurring support when a family caregiver needs a break, has work or personal commitments, plans to travel, or is experiencing caregiver fatigue. Coverage may be arranged for several hours, a full day, a weekend, or a recurring schedule based on availability.
